Canadian Strength and Conditioning Professional Level 2

The Certified Strength and Conditioning Professional (CSCP) Level 2 designation recognizes a strength and conditioning coach who has amassed 10 years of professional experience, is progressing throughout their career, and has given back to the greater strength and conditioning community through mentorship and guidance to younger coaches.

To achieve the CSCP Level 2 designation, candidates must have met the minimum knowledge requirements set forth below. This certification signifies that the coach has demonstrated advanced knowledge and practical competencies necessary to continue to progress in their career and mentor younger coaches.

Requirements

  • CSCA Member with current CSCP1 status
  • 10 years of professional experience
  • Graduate degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or a closely related program OR mentorship of 10 CSCP1’s
  • Three reference letters — athlete, coach, supervisor
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification
  • NCCP Safe Sport Training Completion
  • NCCP Making Ethical Decisions Course Completion
  • Current Professional Liability Insurance
